Building Jewish Community

Our families embrace the ethnic, racial, religious, and social diversity of San Francisco--and our growing community reflects this. On Friday evenings, we come together to celebrate being Jewish.

Developing a Jewish Vocabulary

Through story, ritual, art, music, and food, children are exposed to the language of Jewish life.

Learning the Rhythms of Jewish Life
Engaging with the Jewish calendar and the weekly practice of Shabbat, children who might not observe Shabbat or holidays at home have a warm, familiar space to consider and live their Jewishness.

Latest project

At our most recent Shabbat Club gathering, the children made edible dreidels (that really spin!), noodle menorahs that really work, and beautiful chanukah decorations to hang up in their homes.
